The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for all accounts and prospects in their sales territory and must be able to demonstrate a track record of success with both OEM and Distribution customers. The Territory Sales Manager will aggressively drive sales to meet or exceed Business Plan, position the brand as a quality supplier in the market, service the existing customer base, and coordinate New Customer Acquisition efforts in the medium to very large sales range in the OEM and industrial distribution markets. The successful candidate will be able to build relationships with all key decision‐makers for customers in a variety of targeted industry segments within the territory. Internally, the Sales Manager works closely with Executives, Sales Managers, Product Managers, Customer Service, Engineering, and Demand Chain departments.
The ideal candidate for the role of Territory Sales Manager must possess the perfect mix of sales and account management skills. The candidate for this position must possess strong computer skills especially in Microsoft Office and CRM programs. Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary! The candidate will be accountable for the efficient set‐up and maintenance of a home office within the district.
