The primary responsibilities of the Project Manager will include analysis of customer equipment specifications and performance requirements, review of proposal documentation prior to submittal, participation in design review for adherence to specifications, communicate directly with the customer for design and schedule review, and follow up on all punch list requirements. In addition, the Project Leader will input and track cost analysis/pricing in MRP and report out progress to leadership.


  • Determine customer needs and help to develop solutions communicating with Sales and external customers to apply knowledge of product line applications
  • Project kick-off with Engineering Department
  • Equipment engineering and manufacturing follow-up ensuring timelines are met including delivery dates, factory acceptance tests, shipment, onsite customer meetings, cost/sell tracking support, and invoicing follow-up
  • Contact OEM companies for follow-up and adherence to schedule and project closure
  • Recommend design modifications to eliminate machine or system challenges
  • Assist with customer complaints, requests for spare parts, or alternative design solutions 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business or related field preferred
  • Knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical design concepts
  • Specialized training in design/drafting principles in the automated packaging, conveying, material handling and/or related industry
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
  • Ability to multi task proactively participating in multiple projects/tasks simultaneously based on various project timelines
