Job Summary:
- Designs, plans, and implements human resources programs and policies for staffing, compensation, benefits, immigration, employee relations, training, and health and safety. Ensures human resources strategies align with organizational business goals. Evaluates human resources processes and strategies to determine improvements to be made and reports findings to top management.
- Essential Functions:
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner, so that you get along with customers, clients, co-workers, and management.
- Provides day-to-day direction in all aspects of human resources, including supervision of the HR Generalist.
- Responsible for an organization’s compliance with internal policy and reporting regulations. Plans and directs programs, policies, and practices to ensure that all business units’ activities are following regulatory requirements. Tracks laws and regulations that might affect the organization’s policies and implements necessary changes. Participates in Parent Company audits annually.
- Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
- Participates in EC Global One – HR discussions and applies
- Provide expatriate support system; including but not limited to housing, healthcare, social networking, and expatriate tax issues.
- Develops, implements, administers, and maintains benefit programs policies and procedure for the organization.
- Performs all payroll related functions for the organization.
- Responsible for researching, establishing, maintaining, and reporting on company’s pay system.
- Plan, conduct and administer programs to train employees and improve skill and knowledge.
- Provide and assist with constructive and timely performance evaluations.
- May maintain involvement with new foreign entities for an extended period to develop policies, processes and procedures and handle employee relations issues.
- Responsible for implementation of international assignment agreements, hiring of local nationals outside the United States.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; and three to five years’ experience in the human resources field; or seven (7) years of equivalent experience in the HR field; or and similar combination of education and experience.
- 2-3 years with HRIS Online System
- Human Resources Certification PHR or SHRM Credentials preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate with all staff levels.
- Excellent interpersonal skills along with the ability to adapt.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
